Your opinion on the new Atheist Bible ?
The Good Book: A Humanist Bible by A.C Grayling is the new Atheist bible which looks like the Christian’s bible , it contains verses, chapters, and even start out with a garden scene as well, sprinkled with his own “Ten Commandments” version. It derived from authors and philosophers’ quotes and thoughts. It looks like to me a mimic of the regular Bible. If Atheists are suppose to be free spirited and think that it’s ignorant for Christians to follow and obey what a book tell them to do then why would they do the same to their “Bible version” and create their own religions ? Any thoughts ?
One person wrote a book, that’s all. That does not mean Atheists subscribe to it, live by it, regurgitate what it says as fact. I did not even know about it until now, and I have no intention of ever reading it. According to its own title it is a humanists Bible, I don’t know how you translated ‘humanist’ into ‘Atheist’. Atheism is not a religion.
