A few people to look up to besides Jesus?
This isn’t a question for only atheists nor is it a stab at Christians. It’s a quesition for everyone! Who is on your What Would ______ Do keychain?
The Bible does go on and on about Jesus and I’m sure he was a good person, but I don’t think we can understand his motives enough to look up to him. How can we say we’d know what Jesus would do without understanding his motives? It just baffles me that so many people look up to him as a role model, unless you can heal the blind and turn water into wine I don’t see a reason to.
Anyone who truly and greatly values human life is on my list (and you’d be surprised how rare those people are becoming!).
People who reflect the image of Christ in life and deed.
