Atheists: Ever heard of this movie?
It’s called “The Meek”. I heard them talk about it on the show/podcast “Atheist Experience”. It’s supposed to be about the purpose of religion being that aliens planted it there so that they could take control later on. It sounds pretty funny. I haven’t been able to find it talked about anywhere.
No I have not heard of that movie.
However the idea of aliens visiting primitive man who thought them to be god does make sense.
There was a documentary about something similar to this on the History Channel a while back
