Why doesn’t Wikipedia, with mostly atheist & liberal users, use BCE/CE?
Obviously it’s not the “new standard”, as fools like Creation Crusher are saying. See:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1_BC
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_Caesar
For the record I am an atheist but I absolutely hate political correctness and rewriting history for the sake of erasing religious references. We aren’t changing the names of the days of the week, so why the h.ell would we change BC/AD? How are we going to explain what BCE/CE means to the younger generation? BCE/CE just pointlessly obscure the reason that it’s the year 2010.
WHO CARES?!
